Laura Mercier Holiday 2013 Palette

Here is the beauty. The palette is sleek and almost like an ostrich *faux* leather. It is magnetic on the front so it will stay shut!!
Overall I give packaged based on looks, ease of transport a 3.9/5 WOO

Here is the inside of the palette. Colors listed on top row L to R: Sparkling Dew, Guava, African Violet, Plum Smoke, Kid Royal, and Violet Ink.                               Second Rows Colors L to R: Vanilla Nuts, Primrose, Fresco, Bamboo, Truffle, Espresso Bean.
Just glancing at the palette's color selection, I LOVE them. This is the first LM eyeshadows I have ever owned. I originally purchased 2 during the VIB sale this winter for my sister and I. I really knew I would love it. I immediately started playing with it and MY GOSH the colors blend so effortlessly. I will admit I never swatched it though, until for this blog post. Let me tell you, these are the MOST velvety, smooth eyeshadows I have swatched thus far ( even though I rarely swatch :-) )
The only shadow I have a love/hate with is African Violet. It had a quite a bit of fallout (hate) but the color on the lid is 100% (love). The fallout is an easy enough fix that it wouldn't be a deal breaker.
For quality I give it a 4.7/5 in my book!!

L to R: Fresno, African Violet, Primrose, Guava, Vanilla Nuts, and Sparkling Dew
 Same shadows with FLASH

 Top: Without Flash
Bottom: With flash
L to R :Truffle, Kid Royal, Bamboo, Plum Smoke, Violet Ink, Espresso Bean

Quick and simple look I threw together. Don't mind my lack of brows, liner, mascara, and face :)
Late at night and didn't want to get all fancy smancy.
Hope you all enjoyed this quick blog. I am about to conk out. SO extremely exhausted :(
Goodnight from me and my precious Bella
